Simple autumn pleasures…

I like to try new recipes.

My son asked me for pumpkin pie. Never having made one before, I just asked Google.

This morning, I baked a small pumpkin, butternut squash and peppered squash while we went for a bike ride.

In late afternoon, I made pumpkin puree and squash soup.

Before supper, I mixed the pumpkin puree with eggs, Eagle brand milk, cinnamon and nutmeg and hop in a baked pie dough 35 min. Wow!
