This is an awesome TED conference. I agree with everything said by Reshma Saujani with one exception, the title. I’d say teach everyone to be brave. Yes focus on girls because the difference is notable but this is also important for boys. The big concept to embrace is: enjoy the process of making a mistake and learning, never be afraid to fail.
I tell my son over and over, at least a few times per week: go, make a mistake, don’t be afraid to fail, that is the best way to learn. By the time he is an adult, he will have heard this a few thousand times.
