On this mother’s day morning, as I was driving home after visiting the two women in my life who loved me unconditionally, I was listening to the radio and I heard this song from Bryan Adams “When you love someone…“
Sometimes, music drives itself into my soul and inspires me. This morning, as I was listening and driving, an idea emerged from the depth of my heart. It was so beautiful and inspiring that it brought tears to my eyes.
A few experiences humbled me in the last years, and I became so sensitive that I can cry when I see, feel, or understand beautiful ideas. It is not sadness; it is awe.
I stopped the car, and I let this idea burn like the sun in my mind. Then, I wrote this to the beautiful woman in my life who loves me:
“When you find a woman who loves so much that she is willing to put your happiness before her own, she inspires you to take great care of her, to love her in the same manner, to make her a priority.”
I cried even more in awe when I understood the origin of these feelings.
Two women in my life loved me unconditionally. So I continued: “My mother planted the seed, and you made it bloom. You are like the water and the sun in my life. I love you more every day.”
On this special day, I am grateful for this gift, the ability to love unconditionally, carried all over the world by women, especially mothers.
On this special day, please take the time to care about this special person in your life.
Thank you.
